Hisaronu can be found on the southwest coast of Turkey and is quickly gaining a reputation as party hotspot. Featuring many bars and clubs the town has no shortage of part options. Hisaronu does not have its own beach but the nearby Olu Deniz provides white sands and the famous Blur Lagoon. Despite featuring many of the ingredients required for a well earned holiday, Hisaronu is still unfortunately the subject of many reports of avoidable holiday illness.
Although many of the hotels in the area can claim to offer high standards of safety and hygiene, there are still unfortunate cases of unacceptable standards reported.

Although all holiday makers visiting Hisaronu are advised to drink only bottled water, poorly maintained swimming pools can also lead to serious stomach illness such as Gastroenteritis as a result of contracting Cryptosporidium. Avoid foods not cooked thoroughly and/or re-heated incorrectly.
